Therapy your way

We know therapy requires more than just direct services, so DotCom Therapy compensates for indirect time.

FAQs

  • You are valued! We take your years of experience as a provider & your experience in specific settings into consideration. Compensation is hourly for both direct and indirect time (paid equally).

  • You bet! We reimburse for any additional out-of-state licenses needed. We also send you detailed instructions to help guide you through each state’s licensure requirements.

Helpful hint: Providers must be licensed in their state of residence AND the state the student/client is in.

  • Yes! We pride ourselves on making sure our providers feel well supported. Our training, The TeleAcademy, consists of self-study modules that are assigned to new therapists over the span of four days. We kick off training with a meeting hosted by a member of our Onboarding Team, and then you are assigned several modules to complete at your own pace.

Each day of training, there is a check-in to answer any questions about the previous day’s training before you are assigned the next set of modules. Each day’s modules take anywhere from 30 minutes to two (2) hours to complete.

  • Health benefits are available for employees who work a minimum of 30 hours/week. If you dip below this number, you can continue to receive benefits but will be responsible for the employer contribution. Benefits begin the first of the month following your start date.

  • We wish we had the magic number! It really depends on the service frequency of the students you serve, students’ needs, and the overall workload/expectations of the district. Our goal is to cap out at 50 students. Your dedicated Clinical Manager & Customer Success Manager will help ensure you maintain a manageable workload.

  • Life happens & we want to support you! We offer paid sick & safe time, which accrues one hour for every 30 hours worked, with a cap of 48 hours. You can begin using these on the 90th calendar day following your first day. Additionally, you have a network of co-workers who can provide substitutions to ensure you don’t feel bogged down with compensatory time.

  • “Support” is one of our core values. Alongside “trust” and “respect”. We love our providers and want to ensure they feel supported throughout their process. We often hear that our therapists feel closer to their DCT team than they did working in brick and mortar.

In addition to your onboarding training, you are assigned a dedicated Clinical Manager (CM) when you begin with DCT. Your CM will meet with you initially to ensure you feel fully prepared prior to your first on-camera day. Additionally, your CM is a wonderful resource who will meet with you on a monthly basis (or more as needed). If you are working for a school district, you are also assigned a Customer Success Manager (CSM) who helps ensure you have everything you need from the school district for seamless service provision. Your team is there to support you to ensure you are able to do what you do best- caring for your clients!

#Confetti

At DotCom Therapy, we have a tradition of celebrating #confetti moments, big or small. The fact that you’re here taking the first step in becoming a DCT provider is definitely a #confetti moment for us.
